Uppuma

Ingredients

2 cups of slightly roasted semolina

4 red onions

2 dried chilies

Few curry leaves

½ tsp of mustard

2 tbsp of oil

Water

Salt to taste

How To Make

First of all chop the chilies and onions and keep those aside. Then heat the oil in a pan and when it is in a well temperature put the chopped chilies, curry leaves and onions into the pan and fry for a few minutes. When it becomes golden brown add 1 cup of water into the pan and stir it well. Then put the semolina into the pan and again stir the mixture well. Then close the pan and let the mixture to be cooked for few minutes. Then it becomes thick and dry. Here we have the delicious Uppuma in your kitchen. And you can add some vegetables like carrot if you need. And it is better to have Uppuma with some sugar.
